Hi, my name is Usulor Casmir.

I have been working professionally in technology since 2020, when I joined SplishPay as a Backend Developer.

My journey into tech, however, started much earlier in 2014, when I began teaching myself programming. I started by writing code snippets in C, learning from C For Dummies by Dan Gookin, a book I bought at an old book sale event and then diving deep into web development through SoloLearn

I built intelligent recommendation and personalization systems using machine learning, behavioral analytics, embeddings, and semantic search to improve user experience and product discovery in 2022 for TheYutes as a Data Engineer.

While studying Computer Science at Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology, I founded a student community restaurant, which later gained notable recognition, the bus stop started being known as Orange House bus stop.

In 2021, I launched Lemon Digital, a digital retail store where we sold phones, laptops, gaming devices, and computer accessories.

In 2022, I built the first website under 01 Technologies Limited, a company I founded, for Khan Space Oil and Gas Limited.

In 2023, I completed a Full Stack Data Science program at Lagos Data School.

In 2024, I launched 01POS, a retail operating system built under 01 Technologies, designed to help small businesses manage operations and access capital.

In 2025, I stepped into the role of Head of Product for 01POS, leading product strategy, growth, and execution.

In 2026, I led the evolution of 01POS from a web-only application to a cross-platform platform, delivering a unified experience across web and mobile while maintaining a single product ecosystem.

Later that year, I began building the risk scoring model that would later power 01POS's loan product, work that aligns closely with our mission of giving SMEs access to the capital they need to grow.
